Northern Territory

The Northern Territory is a federal territory of Australia. Darwin is the capital city and was totally rebuilt after the devasting effects of cyclone Tracy.

Alice Springs is approximately 1,500 kilometres to the south of Darwin and the other major city is Katherine, located near the Top End.
